This Morocco Desert Star Travel 2-day / 1-night programme is a beautiful introduction to the Moroccan desert experience, discovering many beautiful places during the trip. Day one links Marrakech to Zagora via the High Atlas and the famous Tizi-n-Tichka pass (2260 m), with spectacular views over valleys and villages clinging to the mountainsides; after Ouarzazate, you descend to the Draa Valley, then reach Zagora and the “desert door”, with a camel ride for sunset and dinner in the dunes, spending the night in a tent.

Day two lets early risers admire the sunrise and the play of shadows across the sand, then return to Zagora by camel; the road heads north to the Aït Ben Haddou kasbah for lunch and a visit, before returning to Marrakech in the late afternoon. In a short format, the activity offers a real break: road, light, silence, mineral landscapes, hospitality and a night outside ordinary time.
