Cuenca’s Enchanted City is one of Spain’s most famous geological formations. This 5-hour guided visit, with transport from Cuenca, helps explain the karst process that shaped these dolomites into almost imaginary forms. The landscape sometimes feels hand-carved: arches, silhouettes, whimsical rocks and natural paths create both a scientific and a magical atmosphere.

The day starts around 9:30 a.m. in Cuenca, with transport to the Enchanted City (about 30 min), a guided walk inside it (about 90 min), a short break (15-20 min) near a shopping area, then two stops at the viewpoints of the Serranía de Cuenca Natural Park (Uña pond and Ventano del Diablo), before returning to Cuenca around 2-2:30 p.m. Experienced guides give explanations on geology, plants and animals, and binoculars are provided. The walk is about 3 km, easy difficulty.
