After arriving by train at KM 104, the walk leads to Chachabamba and then to Wiñayhuayna, the most important archaeological site besides Machu Picchu, before reaching the Sun Gate (Inti Punku) and a first view of the citadel.
The next day, from Aguas Calientes, an early ascent allows a guided visit of Machu Picchu at the calmest hour, with free time to explore the site, the Inca Bridge or a panoramic peak depending on conditions. Its strength: you do not simply visit Machu Picchu, you enter it through a route full of memory.
