This SSI Open Water course in Bali is a complete training programme to learn scuba diving and become independent underwater. It includes 6 chapters with a final exam, 6 pool sessions and 5 sea dives, with certification allowing you to dive to 18 metres with a buddy of the same level.

The course is built in 3 parts: theory (which can be done online before arriving in Pemuteran), pool (6 sessions usually in half a day) and ocean dives (5 dives: the 1st from the beach in Pemuteran to get comfortable with the environment, buoyancy and ear equalization, the 2nd and 3rd offshore by boat, then the 4th and 5th at Menjangan island). Most centres offer only 4 dives: this extra dive gives beginners more practice. The Bali setting makes learning even more motivating.
